Bringing this up today because this is the 3rd anniversary of Kelsey getting cold feet and no-show'ing at our press conference.
What the NCAA should have done was hold the tournament, have Winthrop show up for their first round game, then cancel it 30 minutes before tipoff.

Which is essentially what they did to UMass in Brooklyn...only UMass did’t even get that much notice.

Assuming there is a 20/21 season, we play Wake Forest in the Jamica Jam (or whatever the MTE is called). Would be nice to play him but unfortunately there's nobody on the current roster that was affected by his shenanigans.

If a contract is signed by both parties there is no last second changing possible. Kelsey found out that many players were leaving and he backed out of his obligation.

Pretty sure Kelsey left for good reason after some disturbing facts came to light once on campus (think most of us have heard this). Should not have told the players he loved them, but I don't blame him for leaving. Glad we got MM after but PK would have been great here. Hope he succeeds at Wake if hired.

This vague stuff gets tossed out here a lot whenever fragile Pat’s name comes up yet no one ever puts any details behind it. If it’s real, say so;if not it’s not worth throwing out there
