Sorry - let me rephrase that. His ego was not as big as Aj. That kid couldn't fit his head through a double door opening.minutefanjsf wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 11:03 amBaldwin was not egoless....eldonabe wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 9:57 amI really liked that kid. He had flashes of stardom, but he was wildly inconsistent. He reminded me of Ajmal Basit without the ego.natwam2547 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2020 9:31 am I've been trying to check in on those guys from time to time, and I've got to be honest. I have completely forgotten about Baldwin when doing so.

I always liked Chris. Every interaction I had with him was positive. He seems to be a good kid from a good, supportive family.

Re: 2019-20 season
He was kind of an enigma to me. I'm not as connected to the program, or as in tune. But he seemed genuinely happy to attend Umass. Then was in and out of the doghouse a bit. The upset at Dayton 2 years ago when they were down to 7 guys seemed to be a turning point for him and the team. He was genuinely pumped after the game and I think I remember McCall giving him some credit after that one. Then he had his minutes cut, then came a mystery injury and he never saw the court again and transferred far away.
Re: 2019-20 season
I agree LS. I don't know the kid but after one of his better games, I went down to the court postgame with my nephew, and after his postgame interview, he was on his way out to the corner exit, almost there. I called out to him and he turned around and came back over to say hi and shake my nephews hand. Pretty cool thing for a young kid to experience.

Re: 2019-20 season
So the only player who has left who hasn't landed anywhere yet is Chatman, right?
Re: 2019-20 season
Any thoughts on the future homes of the 4 who have landed? 2 went down maybe 3 levels from the A10, Diallo down maybe 2 levels and East either equal or 1 level below.
Clergeot and Jackson - Southeastern LA (Southland Conference)
East - Bradley (Missouri Valley Conf.)
Diallo - Manattan (MAAC)

Thinking that Chatman will wind up with the Screaming Eagles of Minnesota State
Re: 2019-20 season
Tongue in cheek. That was the team on the old show Coach with Craig Nelson and Jerry Van Dyke.

Did anyone else notice MM's full beard on the SAMY awards self-isolation show?
