Re: 2020 Recruiting
Wow Sean East is the one to transfer. Well, there it is. The player to leave for a big man.

Wow, not the one I would have thought. Too bad because I liked what he brought. Maybe he was told he was never going to be more than a role player? Again, it's too bad and I wish him the best of luck

Re: 2020 Recruiting
Don’t think it’s that it’s bring in better players. East is the obvious transfer out because his game is built to be a 20+ minutes a game guy while guys like kolton and buggs can be that 10 minute defensive energy guy off the bench. Kolton only played about 14 minutes even when starting Fernandes and Garcia will take a lot of that minutesinthescoop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:07 am Wow Sean East is the one to transfer. Wow, bad news just keeps coming. If this is true I'm fucking pissed. Sounds like he was pushed out by that tweet. Lots of talent there to work with, very disappointed if he's gone. If it was his decision based on newcomers, I can understand, but if he was asked to leave, I think they made a mistake.
IF true, use it as motivation Sean. Keep up the grind, you'll be fine. Lots of people here will follow your career and wish you well. Fans for life

Disappointed to see him go, but this does allow us to bring in a big man to back up Tre, which I think is absolutely necessary to keep Tre fresh throughout the season.inthescoop wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:07 am Wow Sean East is the one to transfer. I'm curious as to what you mean with your comment about "Tony's way or the highway". Was East in Tony's dog house, or did they have some sort of conflict? What's the story there?

Didn't expect that. Someone is going to lose their mind today.

Disagree, they're pushing out a better player than kolton and possibly buggs. Hate the move. Sean was recruited over. My guess is that the staff told him he'd likely backup Fernandes/Garcia, and he chose to transfer instead.

That tweet doesn't sound like his decision. And how about competing for minutes instead of handing them over. Just disappointed in this move, thats all.

Re: 2020 Recruiting
We are building a team yes he is the better offensive player kolton is better defensive player and a much better fit to be the 10th 11th 12th guy off the bench compared to SeanFloyd wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:42 amDisagree, they're pushing out a better player than kolton and possibly buggs. Re: 2020 Recruiting
I agree Sean isn’t suited to be a 10 minute a game player. If we needed him for offense off the bench that would make sense, but it seems like we have that already in Dibaji/Dominguez. I’m bummed because I really liked his game/potential. I hope he finds a good fit.

Re: 2020 Recruiting
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I don't think anyone is handing over minutes to anyone, but I would expect them to be honest with the players about their expectations/vision for the future and where everyone fits in.

Agreed... either way, he was forced out. These things happen. CJ was forced out too, but in a different way.. they just didn't play him. These things happen.
