East played against 13 other A10 teams, all of whom vote on the award, and he played poorly against some of them.
And Collins, Hyland, and Lee had no poor games against A10 teams? We have entered the utterly, utterly bizarre. I look forward to the next ever shifting explanation.
I never said those guys didn't have bad games, and I refuse to dive into this any deeper, I was simply explaining to you why East might not have been given the award, and how his head-to-head performances against 4 of the guys on the team is irrelevant.
The original question asked if Sean East got "screwed", and while I think you can make a reasonable argument that Sean could be on the all rookie team, I wouldn't put him there, and I think the obvious answer to the original question is no, he didn't get screwed.

Good idea, because your arguments keep changing and breaking down.

I have no idea what this means, particularly since we have not traded any PMs, but mute away. I’ll take this as even more evidence that you can’t defend your position. You simply don’t like East and you can’t even follow your own ever shifting arguments. So, you throw out nonsense about “love letters.” Creep. When you got nothing....
Well done, simpleton.

I do. It’s for the record, and it is funny how often people who say they are disengaging or ignoring just happen to find their way back.

This, from Sean.
NBA Sean
@Rise_shine_35
10h
I got fired on my DAY OFF!
I have to assume it's true and if MM made this decision, I'm not sure it's the right one. I felt that Sean had the most upside of all the point guards currently on the roster. They must feel pretty strongly that Fernandes will get his waiver.
Sean, I wish you the best. You gave us some great moments last year and you'll find a spot I'm sure.

Sean had the 2nd most assists of any freshman in UMass history, only behind Carl Smith. He was 8th among all players in assists per game just ahead of De'Jon Jarreau.

Something is going on here. If you cut loose the starting point guard, it would seem that they either know (how would they?) that Fernandez will get a waiver (why would he? No coach change...) or they have a temp replacement in a fifth year transfer coming in (Aitken from Harvard, I'd hope)... Or maybe Garcia is just that good. But, if so, why were we after Femi?

It's good that guys here are upset about this. Sean - May you have much college hoops success!

^ Agreed. I'm disappointed that Sean won't be back, regardless of who's decision it is and how it happened. We saw the kinds of flashes of brilliance that with some development would become more consistent, and he also had a knack for hitting big shots. I'll definitely miss watching him hit those floaters in the lane. Good luck young man, you'll do well.
