After the first year with an undermanned team I thought we were in a very good position coaching wise. That’s out the window!!!

There have been very few games during McCall’s tenure that I have thought they looked out of focus, flat, and unprepared. Normally there is a talent or experience gap, but the team always has fight in them and you can at least see potential and some semblance of a game plan. I’ve always liked that about McCall’s teams. You watch and feel they are right on the cusp. So close. Today I expected them to get over the hump and start to make a turn. Home game, favorable match up. Nope. This game is a full on DK flashback. Choke job when they need it most. Sloppy play, dumb decisions, and poor coaching. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

where's our "friend" from his hometown been? I questioned at the time if he was trolling...no doubt in my mind now he was! I want Sean to score 20 game and have a +5 every game, but he has been absolutely terrible the last 3-4 games. So careless with the ball and forces way too much. I don't think he's a true point guard, so I can't kill him too much. I think Kolton, if healthy, is the point guard.

Coach McCall officially needs to win me back at this point.

I don't know. There seems to be some preparedness and a gameplan, but it's not often effective, and more concerning, it's almost always run with a real lack of force.JoleonLescottsHair wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 5:34 pm There have been very few games during McCall’s tenure that I have thought they looked out of focus, flat, and unprepared. At this point, I'm in favor of Tony taking over. McCall doesn't seem to bring much to the table for what he's being paid.

Maybe the most depressing loss of the year. They could have had TJ and his dad in his prime and they still would have lost by at least a dozen.
The decision to leave Tre on the bench as they went down 16 at the half was infuriating. This isn't a team that's going to come back from a 16 point second half deficit too damn often.

This is just so depressing.
We are bad defensive basketball team. The press stinks and teams generally get whatever they want against us for long stretches.
We are limited offensively, especially without TJ. I know a lot of the team is young but nobody can get good shots from the perimeter. Yes a lot of the team is young but a lot of the kids are limited offensively. Maybe they get better I don’t know. Yeah we need another big but we also need more talent period. We need kids that can get shots.
I think at some point the losing can just become too much. That’s what it felt like today. We haven’t gotten better. I usually try not to get too high or too low, but fuck, man, this one was rough...

Understand it will never be 1996 again ... but damn I’d take 2008 ... this is embarrassing. We have become one of the worst teams in the league... I’m a loyal fan and grad so not going anywhere. But if I was still a taxpayer in mass I’d be questioning if we are spending our tax dollars optimally in our basketball program...

What makes you think Tony would do any better? It’s his defense they are running.Almontis wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 6:28 pmI don't know. You would take Kolton over Sean East at PG for this team? No way man..jrdupe wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 5:34 pmwhere's our "friend" from his hometown been?
