MM was screaming at them about "time and score" and Keon took 2 ill-advised 3s with 15-20 seconds left of the shot clock.
I agree except when they get the clock below 8 or so they generally don't get off good shots IMO.
They weren’t exactly knocking down the shots they were taking with 25 seconds left . The longer the defense must play defense, the better for the offense. You have to force the defense to work, passing around the perimeter doesn’t cut it.

Keon had about a 1 minute stretch in the last couple minutes of the game that were just perfectly Keon with me yelling at him and applauding him almost in the same breath. He missed 2 three's with 20+ seconds on the shot clock but also took a charge and ripped down a pretty big defensive rebound. Kid is all heart and balls.

He took 8 shots... Samba and Keon both took 8 shots.. When CP is on fire he needs way more than 8 shots

When he's on fire the defense stays on him like a glove and it's hard for him to get free. The defense is generally not on Samba and Keon like they are on Pierre.

Nice to see Samba with 12 rebounds to go along with the 14 he had at St. Louis.

Really need him to keep this up.

They did but la salle plays 4 guards and switches everything a team that does that won’t give up a ton of 3’s of screen actions

I believe McCall said they have a top 10 opponents 3% in the country - and we shot 56% against them.

Not sure about the Rodman thing, but I’d like to see the PA announcer play this everytime Samba takes the court:

I like the sound and I see they're from Senegal.

I hate to sound like I'm trashing him because I really like his game, and I think he does a lot more good than he does bad...I just wish he'd be a little more careful with the ball...and it's obvious McCall wishes this as well.
Kolton doesn't have the same quickness or scoring ability as East, but I really love his ability to conduct the offense without getting out of control, and he's a good defender that plays with a lot of energy & toughness.

That is absolutely correct (1 of the 8 was a steal at the front of the press, not in the half court)...he also did not attempt a shot until 5 + minutes were gone in the game and after not missing in the first half he took 3 shots in the second half...mind boggling. I realize the other team was tighter on him and that is why they need to run a play for him...not just off picks.
There should be a play run every game for him to get the first shot and see if you get him going...he isn’t TJ Weeks who catches the ball ready to shoot and gets them off...Carl will go long stretches without a shot and he is too valuable for that, so it should be important to set him up early.

Looking forward to see Kolton develop now that he's back. Looks pretty solid so far

Samba with 12-12-6, what a solid all around game right there! Low key a big time double double threat.

Add in 3 steals, just 1 turnover and a half dozen hustle plays. Maybe the best game of his career and an indication of what he is capable of.
