Anyone know what's up Kolton? We'll miss his D on Fairfield's top guards.Cameron Sibert

Sean East is a real good pg. Crafty, in control, and very heady. Will be a steady player for us

I've been in and out of watching. Has TJ played at all?

Some notes from the 1st half:
1. Something that has been an issue with all of McCall’s teams so far, the other team is more aggressive.
2. Tre and Samba especially need to be more aggressive; Tre has taken it to the basket a few times and got fouled, which is what we need to see more, but that transitions to,
3. We need to make our free throws.
4. Buggs is a solid player however he looks nervous out there, overthinking everything, he will find his confidence; only a freshmen.
5. Sean East has surprised me and impressed me most.
6. Where is Carl Pierre? Our best player is scoreless in the 1st half. That is the big story right now.
Being up 8 at one point in the half and now being down 7 is never a good sign but that shows that this is a game of transition and we still have a solid chance at winning if momentum is on our side.

yikes that was an ugly end of the half. no real fire and some poor shot selection.

Welp, that's not a half I'd want to hang in a museum.
Seemed like they were doing fine the first 8 minutes or so -- press was causing some issues for Fairfield getting into their offense and they were getting enough offense to get that 8 point lead. Then they went about 8 minutes without a basket and missed some free throws. I didn't love the lineup they had out there when they had that lead (especially offensively -- Baptiste, Buggs, and Santos I think?) And defensively they weren't as sharp as they were when they were scoring and able to press and a more experienced team took advantage in the halfcourt.
Would be nice if Pierre could stay on the floor and hit some shots. We'll see if they can get things untracked on offense (ball wasn't moving great, need to have better shot selection and hit their free throws) and then string some stops together on defense. Those last 10 minutes or so were really a letdown -- intensity level dropped and offense was stagnant. Credit Fairfield too.
They are young. This is going to happen.
