That's the true definition of "good news, bad news".

Do we know if either Del Gaizo will be in the line up at all this weekend?

Good question. I see nothing on the Hockey East website regarding a suspension for ADG's hit against AIC, so I guess that is good news. As for MDG and the injury, the way things are today with privacy, we probably won't know until game time Friday whether he is playing. Based on the way he left the ice Friday, I have serious doubts.

Thought ADG was an automatic one game suspension because they gave him a game disqualification penalty. They could have changed it tho.

Extremely pleased with the comeback win tonight 6-3 over Northeastern, but this team better start playing 3 periods of hockey or it's going to come back and bite them. Really bad first 15 minutes, a great second period that was their best in a long time, and a mediocre to bad 3rd period. Lindberg saved their bacon tonight with some incredible first period saves. Defense giving the puck away way too often. The good news is after 2 penalties in the first period, the didn't take anymore. power plays killed streak ends at 26 straight, and they are now 27-28 on the year. Let's get the sweep.

Excellent game tonight. Huge four points this weekend against a top 10 team. When’s the last time that’s happened, if ever? Gives the tie breaker over NU in hockey east and also puts UMass in the drivers seat for the pairwise comparison between the two. I love this hockey team.

Again, they overcome adversity Saturday night, with another dumb penalty and disqualification resulting in only 5 available defensemen for the final period. This team has lots of offensive firepower and the freshman D-men, have for the most part, been good. I'm assuming Kessel gets an automatic DQ for the next game, and given that it is doubtful MDG will be back from his injury, Vegara should make his initial appearance of the season at UNH Sunday. My two biggest issues so far this year are the lack of discipline and inconsistent effort. I attribute both to lots of freshmen being asked to play major roles. This was a huge weekend sweeping a top 10 team. While it doesn't matter, I expect us to climb to number 2 in the coaches poll.

Kessel received a game misconduct not a DQ. Suspension would have to come from the league which is very possible.

Up 1 spot to #2 in the Coaches' poll, and we get one first place vote, likely done to tweak the nose of Colorado Seminary.

We’ve hit must win territory early in the season. Drop to 2-3 in HEA with 4-3 loss at BU. Great comeback effort after entering third period down 4-0. 52 shots on goal for us, but Tucker was the difference in goal for BU. Murray was shaky, and our young defense continues to give up way too many easy scoring opportunities. We truly aren’t a top 10 or maybe even 15 team at this point of the season. Don’t have much more time to waste and can’t keep losing ground in Hockey East.

I agree. Also the pairwise, dropped down to 27. And I know most people are gonna tell me it’s too early to worry, but I wonder how many teams worked their way up from the bottom half at thanksgiving for example, to an at large bid.
