Well, we are no longer owning the bottom of FBS, so that's good. Looks like Ucon and Akron are battling to be worst.

It is great that the team rose to this occasion, given losing 5? players for missing curfew.

Going to FIU, another bottom feeder FBS program will be a chance to win on the road but we are 96% underdogs. https://www.espn.com/college-football/g ... /401114274

Good for the kids who have stuck with it...good for Curtis who should have been the starter from day 1 and who should start the rest of the season...Good for Bell and his staff. I don't expect many more wins, but 0-12 would have sucked and this was a good day.

I’ll jump in on the sentiment here, Fallon was #4 since the season began, Brito goes into concussion protocol and the chance to move to #3 is possible, then you go to practice on Friday and you are #2! All of a sudden Saturday rolls around and you are in at the end of the 3rd quarter and complete your first pass for 34 yards and add another one in 4th quarter to help an 0-4 team protect a lead.
Not going all in with the comment about how he compares with the top two QBs, but I really admire what he did today and how important it is to work hard and be ready when your time comes!! I hope he recognizes how key he was in today’s win! I do!!

Yup, enjoyed the game and was pleasantly surprised today. Was a beautiful day capped of with a good effort and win. Feel a lot better about the team and coaching staff, know most games will be painful. If the recruiting Bell has started, commits, the optimism will feel great. Did loss it but this game told me it's not a downward spiral, but the start of possibilities. Know getting ahead of myself. But if basketball and football really start improving, then the AAC would be possible. :D
Go UMass!!

Beautiful Day. Based on his performance, I don't understand why Mike Curtis was 3rd on the depth chart. He's clearly the best QB. Also kudos to Mike Fallon who seems to be the 2d best QB. Defense showed up when we needed it. Improvement. Band was awesome. Congratulations to Coach Bell and the program for a good win.

First win, a good first step. Team's energy was great and Curtis was a spark. That last drive showed promise as the oline opened up big holes for Ally. Good to see positive results for these guys as they work hard to turn this around

Gotta give credit where credit is due! Good effort and let's hope we see more of it in the future.

Great win fo the program. Coach Bell made a statement with the suspensions and the players responded!

Congrats to all!

Curtis looked great and the defense was awesome with the pick-6. Hope Bell stays with Curtis the rest of the season. I guess I was wrong calling Bell Molnar 2.0 and if we beat UConn, then I'm in the Bell camp for sure.

ZooMass.. … you should be in the Bell camp anyway. he is going to have a spectacular 30 year head coaching career (First 5 with UMass)

I agree with your assessment that Bell is not Molnar, but your rationale is off. Molnar beat Akron, too.

It was enjoyable to watch the game irregardless who the opponent was. I would think that a couple of the subs that played yesterday just might have earned to keep their starting roles.

Good win.
Despite a difficult start this year I am always of the belief that it is more important to see how the team does under a new coach the second season.
I expected a difficult season (albeit not this difficult) this season. Cautiously optimistic about the program going forward.
