I could go on about how great it is having Curtis playing but the results so far speak for themselves! Bell is a moron to me for thinking that Brito belongs on the same field as Curtis.

One game at a time. Let’s go!
Re: GAME 5 9/28 AKRON
We're number 129!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looked like 0-12 was a certainty after getting blown out by SIU. Good job by Walt Bell and the rest of the coaching staff keeping the team focused and getting his first win.

Good job guys, hanging in there and getting the win.
Re: GAME 5 9/28 AKRON
Made a good call in suspending players, got the win out of it. I know it was Akron and at home, but still. Gotta congratulate Bell on his first ever head coaching victory.

Attendance was only 7284 but what more can you expect with the way we were playing and the opponent.
By the way APP St beat coastal Carolina this afternoon.

More importantly, it looks like we found our QB for the season. A bit surprised it took this long, not sure of the evaluation process during the off-season, but here we go.
We went from being called the worst team in college football to getting a win today - feels really good!

LOL!
Surprised and pleased by today's showing! Two things I particularly liked; the energy on the sideline, and the way they used the "hurry up" today. I like getting to the line quick and locking the defense, then getting a look at their set then calling the play. Much better use of clock on offense, and they can quick snap in cases where the opponent's defense is gassed, as happened today.
Defense played hard as well, good to see them get some pressure. Penalties still hurt us at some critical moments, but they hung on. Pretty much all you can ask, and I'm definitely enjoying this win!
Re: GAME 5 9/28 AKRON
It was finally fun to be at a FB game. A couple of items worth mentioning.
1. The guys played hard for the entire game. We were depleted and a few guys were gassed, but they showed a lot of heart.
2. Credit to Ally and the O line for closing out the game. When is the last time we had a 1 score lead, got the ball at the 25 and ran out the last 5 1/2
minutes to end the game? We had 3 subs on the O line and rushed for over 200 yards.
3. I liked the fact that Curtis threw the ball away around a half a dozen times rather than throw a risky pass or get sacked.
There's a lot more but that's enough for me. One other tidbit - UConn is losing to UCF at the half, 42-0.
EDIT:
4. Cooper Garcia. Have to note his value today. Perfect on kicks and a number of kickoffs into the end zone.
