I think the USVI team isn't half bad.. I'm pretty sure both Yoingstown and N Kentucky both had close games with them. Should be a better test.

Wouldn't Kit be around 40 years old by now?

Kitwana Rhymer (born 22 May 1978 in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands)
That would be 41 if my math is correct.

Here are the results for the above games. USVI are better than BVI and maybe better than Calgary.
Virgin Islands Tour: Day Three: Penguins Slay US Virgin Islands, 90-82. Penguins are Youngstown State.

NKUNorseMBB in Saint Thomas: Day 2; Norse defeat USVI National Team in buzzer-beating fashion (85-84).

^ sooo.. those teams played close games with experienced D1 players and we are rolling out a squad of mostly freshman without Carl, Djery, or Samba...

UMass is up at half 59-40....

Looks like we beat USVI today 122-86 based on a tweet I just saw from Tre’s mother.

The amount of points scored in these games is impressive. I dont care who we played.

Fantastic set of games down in the USVI. Obviously not the greatest competition, but they showed very well with a short bench. Time to fire up the hype machine and get my maroon footie pajamas back from the cleaners.

I agree. Shooting percentages have been very impressive and the scoring is very balanced. Nice job

It’s not saying much, but I believe the level of competition is much stronger than it was 4 years ago during the European trip.

there seemed to be the least amount of buzz about CJ Jackson coming in, but he looks to be hitting 3s at a high rate. Small sample size, I know, but he looks to be a fluid guard with good length, and a knockdown shooter to boot? "intriguing"

Is CJ Jackson the Carl Pierre of this recruiting class? In the 2 box scores that we have, he was 7-11 from 3. I don't care if it's pre-game warm-up, 7-11 is good.

I think that Mitchell kid might be OK. 2 games of 27 points and in the game he "only" scored 16, he played just 13 minutes. I am also happy to see Sy doing well; 14, 16 and 20 in reasonable minutes.

Granted, the level of competition was questionable, but I like the results and the fact that all 8 players contributed. Now, can we start speculating on playing time and stats?

I agree. Pleasantly surprised to see these stats from him! Also as others have said I don’t care who we played the points scored have been beyond my expectations and I can’t help but be excited!
