It would be more meaningful if the rating was for the entire roster but since it's for incoming recruits it's not such a big deal. Some schools have few recruiting needs because their rosters are already pretty full.

Agree, I always take these class ratings with a grain of salt because they seem to emphasis both quantity and quality.

I agree with both of you. It'd be better to look at the roster rating, or at least the class average rating.

I have that data for the 2018-19 rosters. But not for 2019-20.

Stuff like this just gets you fired up. I'm excited what the guys coming in can do but they sure seem to be connected and supportive of each other https://twitter.com/tre_mitch33/status/ ... 29248?s=21

What service are you citing for these rankings? I haven't seen any that include East and Jackson yet. The one's I've see only show 4 incoming recruits.

Great mention. Go Tre!

Player to watch: UMass had a massive recruiting coup when it landed ESPN 100 center Tre Mitchell in the spring. Mitchell will have an early chance to make an impression.

For those interested, former frequent attendee @ UMass home games T.J. Gassnola is mentioned in an article regarding alleged violations, found way down the page,

When I watch videos of Tre, he reminds me of Mo Alie-Cox, but with much better offensive skills.

In what ways does he remind you of Cox? I see very few, if any, similarities between the two.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. I know it was an A10 opponent from a couple of years ago. Anyone have a suggestion?

His game reminds me quite a bit of TJ Cline who won the POY while at Richmond

Mo is in the NFL ,69. I'm hoping Tre is headed for the NBA
