Ladies lax went undefeated and won the national championship in 1982.

How many sports has UM Men participated in the NCAA Final Four for that sport. I’ll give you Football, Basketball (I was there, IT COUNTS), Ice Hockey, for three (3). Name the others.

Re: Vote for Cale for the Hobey Baker
Colorado now 2-0 with Cale in the lineup after a crazy 3-2 ot win after trailing 2-0 in 3rd. Avs are the perfect team for him. He was getting some serious ice time in critical situations in the 3rd and ot and he already has great chemistry with Mackinnon. Avs play a fast style and are relentless getting shots on net, over 100 last two games.

Men's waterpolo finished 4th in 1995 - Just curious, how does that not qualify as 1 of your three?InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:55 amLol 5th isn't Final FourTruBluMaroon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:09 am

I was the one that said "Waterpolo, maybe?" His response was to say "There is no maybe, waterpolo is one of them..." in not so many words.

I think it was the "no maybe" part that caused some confusion.

I know that you said "men" but...ladies' lax winning a national championship NEEDS to be included in any UMass Final Four list.

Re: Vote for Cale for the Hobey Baker
My ability to answer was limited to men only. I know that W Soccer did well too, Softball, but no Facts on my part, so I didn't include it.

Having severe NewMass hockey withdrawals so the Bruins or Aves better keep winning. Wish they'd have some games on replay on NESN or something
