WTF! Ticket prices too high; game not on TV.

Tickets are $25/$20 for reserved/general admission, online fees not included.Berkman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:24 am Attendance was 3,076. I understand that the tickets were $ 35 so that probably kept some people away plus if there are any students around they have to pay also. Here is a link to the write up on the athletic site:

Re: vs. UNH - quarterfinals
as someone else said, $25/$20 not $35. I'm surprised at the official attendance...I knew it wasn't that great but it seemed much higher than 3000. I looked at the tickets for tonights game and it seems like ticket sales are better, but still a lot of seats available. $20 is not bad for big time playoff hockey...buy the GA ticket and then just move after the game starts.Berkman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:24 am Attendance was 3,076. Complaining about the price after that game is an interesting decision. But if the price is the problem, people should have done what I did: Renew your season ticket last year and gave them an extra $45 to cover all three games. $15/ticket on Center ice is pretty good, though I’m hoping it’s $22.50/ticket TBH

Re: vs. UNH - quarterfinals
One guy near us was holding up his very young daughter (2 maybe) and both of them were yelling it along with the crowd.
As time went by, the shifts were shorter and shorter, although I didn't see anyone just fall over the boards to get back on the bench like we saw at the Maine 3 OT game at The Garden years ago.
I would go back to Murray tonight, although I hope that Fille is with us for a long time.

Re: vs. UNH - quarterfinals
It shouldn't be a problem getting your tickets at the game and save the fees. Here's a comment by a UNH guy about attendance in general. He is intimating that ticket prices are indeed a factor.UMass02 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 8:39 amTickets are $25/$20 for reserved/general admission, online fees not included.Berkman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:24 am Attendance was 3,076. ^Maybe. But then again, the students are in break. Might have had an extra 2000 if they weren’t.

Re: vs. UNH - quarterfinals
Went to the game last night and very disappointed in the turn out. As usual and has been for many years people in western massachusetts just don't give a crap about supporting Umass sports ( please i don't mean everybody in western mass). This playoff game should have been moved closer to eastern Mass, like the Worcester Centrum and attendance would have been much greater ( just look at the Umass crowd we have had this year at away games at Ulowell, BU and BC and Merrimack).
Now lets talk ticket prices, and again I am assuming it's mostly western mass people complaining. How can you complain about paying $20 to get into a college hockey game and see a third ranked hockey team play in a playoff game and then be able to sit in just about any location you want. I paid $20 and sat 3 rows behind the goalie ( luckily in the end that Umass scored most of their goals and the one they scored in OT) in probably the best seats I have had for a college game.
Seriously, your complaining about paying $20 !!! and you don't even have to pay for parking or worry about traffic !!!
Come on people start supporting this Team !!!!

Since I couldn't go anyway, I was unhappy that the game was not on TV. How does that help the league?jjmc85 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:29 amComplaining about the price after that game is an interesting decision. The tourney is a league event, correct? Does that mean students have to pay?
