NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
Re: NOLA DUO GONE!!!!!
^ Just my two cents, but there's nothing wrong with a player having self-confidence. Maturity and guidance helps a person understand how to show it within the team concept.

I doubt that, but I ma sure he is handling it differently now.TheInsider wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:23 am You can be good at basketball and a douche bag at the same time when he was here he had extraordinarily high opinion of himself. Maybe with a little maturity that's come down a bit.
There is nothing more deadly on a basketball court than a confident - even arrogant - player who knows how to control it and use it for the right purposes rather than just looking like a spoiled, petulant, asshole.

Maybe hes displaying the former now rather than the latter like when he was here...

I think we've all done things as a 18-19 year old that we've learned from. Kid's got talent, glad he's making good use of it. It's called growing up. I hope Brison has the same success as well

Watching Houston - SMU. SMU reminds me of UMass last year. Crazy hustle even though they are incredibly undermanned. Jarreau just having an OK game - still very athletic and slithery although has a way to go. . .but Houston is a fun team to watch. Brison doesn't get much PT. Not sure how good the conference really is though.
Armani Brooks is really good. This will be DJ's team next year. Will have to see how they do since they lose a lot. The Brady guy looks good also though.
Also - Houston's trajectory is where I have wished we could be for 20 years. They were essentially nothing and have become a solid contender. I understand Sampson's approach has been questionable at many stops - so there's that consideration, I guess.

^ really can’t compare Houston’s success to other schools. They will be on probation at some point in the near future. Sampson can win anywhere that’s willing to turn a blind eye

Surely you can't be serious! NCAA recruiting has been cleaned up a lot in recent years. In fact, I haven't read any articles in the last year that would even remotely suggest otherwise. Also, I'm an idiot.

There's something a little weird to hear Steve Lappas talking about the UMass transfers.
BTW...I hate when people emphasize the 'U' in UMass....like emphasizing the 'in' in insurance.

Love watching Gresham move without the ball; opened the lane for Jarreau's drive.

The emphasis is on Mass not U.

Despite the logo growing on me, that's one of several (many?) things that irks me with the Power U.
