This is an out and out embarrassment so far. If this was year 3 or 4 for McCall, and the game ends the way it has gone so far, his job would be in doubt. What a joke. And not to be a conspiracy theorist, but we seem to have so many guys who get injured when they are not playing games. I am at the point where I just don't get anything about this program anymore.

Welp anytime you can hold a team to 82% shooting from the floor, you gotta feel pretty good about your chances.

I recognize we are shorthanded and a bit overmatched but I have never ever seen a team miss just three shots in a half of basketball before. Well Nova might have come close against Georgetown in ‘85 I guess.

Don’t think we have another magical second half in us, but I’ll keep watching.

Anyone have any idea what Diallo’s Injury is? We lose more guys who seem to get injured between games.

Honestly, it may have something to do with practicing at the Cage, what kind of shape is that floor in?

a randy west sighting!

Thanks...he came out for the 2nd half dabbing his right eye with a towel.

According to assistant coach, Samba’s knee is bothering him. Could be a recurring problem.

Had to turn it off, looked like a high school team scrimmaging an NCAA team.

The guys who were out tonight we missed: Harper, McCoy, Herndon, Roe...

I would love to see what Laurent looks like on a team with some talent.

This UMass team is just so far away from where we all want it to be.

I've decided I'm going to have blind faith that McCall can do something- anything- to make this team better next year. If not, we probably have to reboot again. :(

Honestly, it may have something to do with practicing at the Cage, what kind of shape is that floor in? The Cage floor is a portable floor, which is far easier on the legs than a permanent floor, like the one at the Champions Center.

WOW!! You really have to desperate to come up with that one! Do you recall all of the injuries during last years WMass tournament??
