In last nights Duke/NC game one of the Duke good players, guard I think, went down because of a problem with his sneaker. He has a mild knee sprain. Duke has a deal with NIKE for the sneakers. This morning NIKE stock was down in pre trading $ 1.50. A NIKE spokesperson said that NIKE was investigating the situation.

It was Zion Williamson - the sure fire #1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft and maybe the best prospect to come out since Anthony Davis.

I hope that he fully recovers. Cynical note: It likely raises the value of his endorsement contract , what a marketing opportunity for his own shoe.

It would be a wise move for Zion to never play another game for Duke.

He does have an 8 million dollar insurance policy in case of career ending injury. Drop in the bucket compared to his potential earnings but it's something.
