The Athletic's Senior Bowl scout wasn't as bullish:

Other prospects who had a tough practice on Wednesday:

WR Andy Isabella, Massachusetts (5-8 7/8, 186): It wasn’t a terrible day for Isabella, but his drops stood out as he struggled to finish away from his body, highlighting catch radius concerns.

One supposed bad day isn't something to fret over. We'll see how he plays this weekend.

Andy had a couple catches including a first down in the first qtr. . He is operating out of the slot.

Former Massachusetts WR Andy Isabella named the Most Outstanding Player for Raiders’ North squad. Has been training with Pro Football Hall of Fame WR Randy Moss. “He said he was going to have his popcorn ready, so I hope he did.” Seven catches, 74 yards, TD. And two stickers.

Kiper was raving about him this morning on ESPN. We should all hope he doesnt end up on dumpster fire team(ie Raiders, any AFCE team not named Patriots).

Great game. Unless he has a really bad Combine, he should be no worse than a third round pick. The NFL is well aware of another great slot receiver that UMass produced, albeit an undrafted one.

Just a thought- the football team with its incredibly bad record is getting the university more national recognition over the recent past with Sharpe and Isabella while the bball team not so much. Hmmm... Any thoughts?

When we get a player or 2 in the NBA the BB team will get some pub. That's the difference in my opinion.
