One good thing for next season is they are playing Charlotte down here so I can go to the game. About a 45 min drive for me.

After a great conversation with @coachwaltbell , I am honored to have recieved an offer from UMass
Grad transfer from UConn. 6'2, 290 DT. I know it's UConn, but their last grad transfer worked out pretty well.

only started 3 games for a team that was worse than us... not sure why we would waste a scholarship on this....

We had some guys in coach’s doghouse that should’ve played. The UConn coaches did virtually nothing right, so why believe they were right to not have him play?

Really wouldn't read too much into his lack of playing time. One of the biggest bitches they have over on the boneyard is Edsall's disrespecting his juniors and seniors to play freshmen and soph's in front of them.
UMass...the best is yet to come

At last count, we have made offers to 34,862 guys from the DelMarVa area in the past 48 hours.

"Whole #DMV c/o 19, 20, 21 offered within last 24hrs...all the best up at #UMASS @coachwaltbell @Aazaar23"
"Jack didn’t have any envy in him," Calipari said. "He was the greatest coach to ever coach here."

Might as well call this 2019 recruiting. Some welcome news:

Good news for #UMass football fans tonight as RB @bilalally22 tells us that he will no longer transfer from the #Minutemen and will return next season
UMass' depth at RB very thin, Ally returning a huge boost there. Ally credits convo with new HC Walt Bell as critical in staying
Per FightMass, Ally can use 2018 as a redshirt year under the new rules so he has 2 years left.

Definitely excited he is coming back... RB was a big position of concern for me going into next season... Now it is only a moderate position of concern, specifically depth-wise.

Sure hope his teammates welcome him back. I wonder what type of culture shift the new coach is going to need to make. I hope if any factions that were created or existed under the old regime can be mitigated by the new coach.
