Here in Mooresville they have a veterans museum dedicated to all of the wars with a huge display. They have a coffee shop and some food. Went there on Tuesday and met some vets. Was told that they have a social on Thursdays, coffee & donuts that lasts about 3.5 hours. Went there wearing my UMass hat and met a guy whose daughter is a freshman on the soccer team. The chaplain is from the Boston area.

As this is one of our marquee programs, ya gotta be better than having a sub .500 winning %. Had high hopes Ed would succeed, but now was the time to " go in another direction".

Bamford is all about results, especially given the investment the department made in scholarships. Once again, he made a decision in a fairly expedient manner. Their last game was 10/22 and he was relieved of duties about two weeks later. Bamford is clearly leaving his mark on this department with the number of new coaches hired due to retirement and replacement.

New coach hired, per the Athletics site (blocked at work). He was previously an assistant coach from USF.

A bit disappointing in that the Herald girls all-scholastic does not include a UMass commit...
