Would really like to get to this game. The Mississippi State fans in the Putnam club were fantastic dudes and women to hang around with last year. Would to see them in their own element. Sadly can not figure out a way you get there.

This is as trapped as a trap game gets. Miss State has just climbed back into the rankings, is coming off a big win at Texas A&M, and plays #1 Alabama right after us. They've haven't played a close game all year, either blowing teams out or getting blown out. And their head coach is in the middle of rumors for the coaching job at Florida, who just fired their coach. UMass meanwhile is coming off its best two games of the FBS era and suddenly has a kicking game. The only ingredients missing are a healthy Ford and extra time to prepare. If we can somehow come up with something to slow down their running game, this could get interesting. Or it could get ugly. You can't consistently blow that many teams out and be fakes. But our guys should feel like they can hang with them based on last year, and Miss State might not be ready to handle a close game psychologically, especially against a big underdog with Bama looming. It's all about stopping the running game, because their defense is improved and it's very doubtful we could score another 30+ on them, even with Ford in top form.

Miss St is much better than last year. Just hope we can avoid injuries.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

Going up to Cherokee NC for the super bingo tomorrow night. Set the DVR to record the game so I can watch it when I get home on Sunday afternoon. At least that way I can fast forward through all the slow time and at least see how we do against a superior team. Just hope we don't get any QB injuries.

Andrew Ford did not make the trip. I don't know what the conclusion was on his injury, but I'm glad someone has some common sense.

It's nice to see the work that he SEC announcers have done to learn about our guys.

Too bad Ford can’t play today...think we would be in the lead right now. How about Logan Laurent!
