Game 5- 2017- Tennessee

Re: Game 5- 2017- Tennessee
I can't believe I'm about to do it... but I agree with Bay Area Umie. Ford is playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the country and is putting up some damn good numbers. We saw the huge drop off when Comis came in. With or without Breneman, Ford is far from useless.

Yesterday, without Breneman and against an SEC opponent, the guy puts up similar numbers (65% completion rate and a 149 QB efficiency rating). But, good old Mr. Negative aka “78” harshly characterizes the kid as “useless”. Very nice sir, very nice.

And you are a moron who thinks the Big 10 will be knocking at our door soon. Oh, you also predicted a winning record this year and a bowl game.stevemaz wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 7:21 amDude, 78 is an asshole.Bay Area UMie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 2:09 amWe have a 21-year old QB/student-athlete representing UMass who has been under intense pass-rush pressure all year. Thanks, LS. No need to defend me against this mini-crew of douchebags (that's the correct spelling, SteveMaz)LS71 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 7:51 amRight back at ya....stevemaz!stevemaz wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 7:21 amDude, 78 is an asshole.Bay Area UMie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 2:09 am

Guys, I know we're all disillusioned about this season. Losing sucks but regardless of what douchebags say, things will get better. We're not going to lose every game for the next 10 years. The defense is good and we just got a new DC and the kids are starting to respond. We will catch breaks. No, I didn't predict a bowl game and no, I'm not the other SteveMaz. We'll win 2 or 3 games. Our special team sucks and probably always will, but the 2 or 3 wins are: Georgia Southern, Maine, and FIU.
And no, the Big 10 is not going to invite us. Give me a fuckin' break. We fit in CUSA or AAC academically and as a peer institution. We're not in the AAU and our endowment is tiny at 300M, so no Big 10 or ACC. But we're better than the Sun Belt (a bunch of community colleges with FBS football).
We got fucked by shitty hires and an AD who didn't give a fuck at the end. All McCutcheon heard from Molnar was "Notre Dame" and he was hired. Molnar was a bad hire and set us back 5 years.

I'll step in and wear the IV hat for a second... Kevin Morris set this program back further than Molnar did. Molnar took the controls of a nose diving plane he wasn't capable of piloting and drove it into the ground.

One quibble-UMass is a far superior school academically than the detritus in C-USA. I wouldn't be so quick to give them the nod over the Sun Belt schools.

Unfortunately, that angle doesn't really clarify anything. You can't really tell exactly where the ball is when it goes past the goal post.Berkman wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 9:52 am 24/7 has a video that shows TENN actually missing a field goal.Link:

I wrote this ... it's gotta be true.

I thought it was no good at the time it was kicked and was highly disappointed that multiple replays weren't showed on the live broadcast.Dickie Dunn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 2:56 pmUnfortunately, that angle doesn't really clarify anything. Ya, that's the broadcast angle and is next to useless for determining whether the kick was good.Dickie Dunn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2017 2:56 pmUnfortunately, that angle doesn't really clarify anything. Re: Game 5- 2017- Tennessee
Based on the development of the defense as the year has progressed( and the lack of offensive progress), I wouldn't be disappointed if Pinkham was the head coach next year. I was ecstatic when Whipple was named head coach but it just hasn't worked out.
