It's more about being able to see people and hang out with them for short periods or during halftime.

^ And to think all these years I just assumed you were too lazy to actually come hang with us lower level people.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

Definitely. I also didn't think you could get from the Club to and back from lower level.

Yes, and they have better beer selection in the lower level than on the club level. Just take the elevator and make sure you have your club ticket and you're good to go.
I wrote this ... it's gotta be true.

And be prepared to pay around $ 8 for a 12 oz draft.

All the more reason to get there early and tailgate. Heck, a decent six-pack can be bought for under $10.00 (which I suggest sharing, not drinking all by yourself).

Which begs the question, how early can we get there? I know at Gillette the official time is 3 hours before, but last year we showed up at 3:15 or 3:30 hours before and there were already tailgates set up, so we got in with no problem. How far can we push the 3 hours before game time mandate? I want to get there as early as possible, but don't want to drive 3 hours and then have to sit outside the parking lot while some guy keeps checking his watch before he lets me into the lot.

They will let you in the lot pretty much anytime, but tell you not to start setting up. Especially if you park in the Putnam lot, they let you in, but seem to police the start time a little more there. We've been in that lot from the beginning. Game one they also seem to more prickish.

I wish I would have flown in for this one but saving for the Umass at South Carolina game.

Anyways, if there is anyone in Chicago... I'll be at Nic and Dino's (The Boston Bar) It's packed for Patriot and Red Sox games hopefully some people come out and watch this one. #BeatBC

^I'd normally swing by, but I'll be in Iowa for a wedding. Never heard of Tripoli referred to as Nic and Dino's though.

^ One of the owner's is Nick... so I just refer it to his place.

Iowa??? Good grief.... That's a shame I will be going to a wedding when NW makes the trip to Michigan State. That would have been a fun double header to cheer on undergrad then root against each other for grad schools (actually I have no idea what time that game is)

I'm sure I'll see ya for a Patriots (assuming you are a fan) game on Sunday. Have fun in Iowa.

I have Slingbox, so I'm making sure we get to the hotel by 11am CT so I can watch from my laptop. If it wasn't for this wedding I might have flown back.

I may try to get to Tripoli Sun night for the game if I'm not worn out from 6 hours of driving. Either way, I'm sure I'll see ya there at some point.
