The Other NCAA Tourney Games
Like their Kemba Walker-led team, I don't think this UConn bunch is a great team, but they are playing the toughest of any team in tourney and that's been more than enough so far. They get after it on defense, especially their guards. They do enough on offense and hit their free throws. DeAndre Daniels has put it together and their guard play is poised and tough. I just don't want to see Calhoun's face. Keep the cameras on Ollie please. Calhoun was one of the biggest scumbags in a very scummy profession.
Fuckin' St. Joe's.
Fuckin' St. Joe's.

Why? Who cares? I like the winner of this game on Monday night. And even if U-con wins, everyone realizes that they were BANNED FROM THE TOURNAMENT last year because they DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO GRADUATE THEIR STUDENT-ATHLETES. Point being, this year's tournament has proven that U-con is U-con's own worst enemy, because they stopped themselves by not even attempting to play along with the NCAA's "student-athlete" fiction.
EDIT: Nothing, not even a championship, removes that stain. In fact, by my eyes, it only enhances and exemplifies it. And that ban was on Cal-goon's fine work.

I still feel this way as I think Kentucky has too much up front for UConn to handle, and their guards are big and athletic. Boatwright and Napier are playing well, but the Kentucky guards should be able to contain them somewhat. #2 for St. JohnFloyd wrote:St John picks up another National Championship against UConn with Calhoun sitting in the stands. *%$R*&^%( UConn
*$&^(%# UConn Really hate them. Goes back to when they refused to play us. My wife thinks I'm nuts. She's probably right.
I wish Cal had 4 or 5 days get his team ready. If Cal has a week to prepare his team, any opponent had better watch out! But, he's only got a day and it's not enough. Conn's older, more experienced. I fear the worse.
