PT Barnum. Appropriate with the circus-like atmosphere surrounding the UMass Prez.

To bring this back to the intended theme, that guy CT on The Real World- Paris, was wearing a UMass-Dartmouth sweatshirt on one of the episodes last night.

I think it was stated here earlier but CT goes to or wen't to UMD. On a side note the fat backstabbing tool on Road Rules is from Boston and gives the city a bad name! I'm hoping Donnell gets voted off if they have to boot someone!!

UMass in print

August 5, 2003. Ron Villone cited as the current Astros ace, page one of the sports section of the Houston Chronicle. He is cited as a former TE for the University of Massachusetts.

OBG,
I'm not in a place where I have access to all my computer tools, and there is a link to post. The Houston Chronicle ran a great article on Ron Villone today, citing him as the "ace" of the Astros staff. UMass gets a mention as Ron played TE on the football team. Could you make that link for me?

Good article about a good guy who is giving our school a little exposure.

Thanks,

Phil

This weeks (Nov 3) NEWSWEEK has a full page (pg 63) picture of Cosby decked out in a UMass Sweatshirt with his name above the logo and his degrees listed on his sleeve.

The online version has it too! -

That was the sweatshirt he was wearing on the Today show. Couldn't see the sleeve. Can't believe that he's 66 years old. I can't believe I'm as old as I am. That rainy day in May 1977 we were both in Alumni Stadium getting our blank folders. How time truly does fly.

So I'm up early this morning to check out the snow and I flipped the TV on. There on Ch. 40 is Bill Cosby in a UMass T-shirt making biscuits with Martha Stewart.

So on New Year's Eve I am watching this sepcial on the Playboy Mansion, and there is some old footage of the Cos umpiring a tennis match between some bunnies wearing a UMass t-shirt.
