After watching it about twenty times, I gotta give credit to the ref for hustling to be in position to make the call.

It's like basketball ... as long as the shot is released before the horn, that's all that matters. So all he had to see was whether the ball was in the air at the horn and whether it crossed the plane.

^ Yeah, I understand that. But he hustled to get the change of possession set up, then hustled to be 10 yards away from the goal to be in position to make a call. He didn't lollygag (movie reference?) his way downfield assuming nothing would happen.

I too have watched that last shot about 50 times. What a great turnaround for this team after a rough start to the season. Lots of solid young talent too.
