Broke the 15 game loosing streak by winning 58 - 45. Next they will play on Wed afternoon in the A 10 tournament.

Great win. Fun game, even when St. Bonaventure pulled close in the 3rd. Shooting wasn't spectacular, but UMass played hard, played good D, and committed far fewer unforced turnovers. I think that made the difference.

Chinenye Odenigbo could really develop into a fantastic defensive player. I think Lilly Taulelei has a lot of upside potential as well. I hope they both stick around.

Davidson women have canceled the rest of the season and post season. They are down to 5 scholarship players. Had to forefit 2 games recently and were just able to do a senior night game on Wed.

How can a Diversion I school cancel any games!!! A10 should tell them field a team or cancel every sport the rest of the year!! This is Divison 1 !!! If the Atlantic 10 allows this , then it was a prudent decision to leave!

I don’t see how, in fairness to everyone, you can count any games that Davidson has already played. For A10 Tournament purposes; Eliminate every game they have already played and treat them like they never existed for this year. That would be the only fair thing for everyone. It’s not fair that teams on their future schedule gets a win and those they have already played will get a loss in some cases. Especially if there are teams tied in the standings. Only way to be fair for all is to just drop all games in A10 play.

Not too many years ago we were using a soccer player to fill in our shorthanded roster. I'm surprised the league will let them cancel the season.
