^Did not know Griffith was part of the staff. That can be nothing but a positive for the program. Maybe even helps in recruiting?

Game 1 in the books. 63-41 loss at Western Michigan. Mercy. How much longer does Dawley have on her endless contract?

Yeah, you are right. The women's program has been outstanding under Dawley -- 22-88 since she got here. My guess is this might be the worst coaching record in the history of the school. Extend her for as long as they extended McCutcheon.

Lose 72-70 at Cental Michigan. I have no idea how good or bad these MAC teams are, but I would guess they are inferior to most A10 teams. Dawley moves to 22-89.

Should've taken a lesson from the men's team and traded the MAC opponents for MAAC opponents.

From the beginning of the 12-13 season until now, the team is 7-55. That's almost impossible to do.

1. First, don't give Sharon too much credit. She is 22 wins 99 losses. Going for 100 tonight. She has earned about $1.2 million during her tenure for that record not counting perks, etc.

2. Listened to both games on the radio. Western Michigan is not a good team, had their leading scorers suspended. However, 3 true freshmen started and had big minutes, so it was likely some jitters. Central Michigan was a tournament team last year I believe. All I would hope for this year is to not finish in the basement and maybe win an A10 tournament game. I had to look it up, it's been over 10 years since that has even happened.

Damn. you are right. I was depriving her of 10 additional losses. It is astounding to me. 22-97 prior to the start of this season, yet she continues to be the head coach here. Amazing.

Because the athletic administration does not give a dam about women's BB and are probably just going to keep her until her contract is over.
