Judging by the resume, joker sounds like John McGraw.

Unless someone like Calipari is in his corner, I believe a male would have a very difficult time getting hired at UMass to coach women's basketball.

Just an opinion. I don't think UMass would never hire a man to coach women's hoops, just that it's very unlikely. I think the question the administration needs to ask is whether it's more important for one woman to get a head coaching job than it is for a whole team of women to have a positive collegiate athletic experience (and perhaps some will be encouraged to go into coaching). Also, I do not mean to imply that the women on the basketball team are not having an incredibly positive and rewarding time under Dawley. There's more to college athletics than winning and losing.

Lost at St. Louis. Play-in game on Wednesday night. Next loss ends the season.

If Geno Auriemma wants to leave UConn for UMass, do you REALLY think anyone would say no because he has a penis?

That is exactly the unlikely scenario I thought of when I wrote it was very unlikely.

Hoping they can pick up the play-in game tonight. Lost by 30 to George Mason a few weeks ago so we will see what adjustments have been made.

Last A10 tournament game was won in 2005

I'll be sooo happy when tonight's game is over and I can pretend we don't have women's basketball team!

So they got out to a 15-0 lead to start the game, but are tied at the half. Em-friggin-barrassing.

Start out 15-0, cough it all up before halftime, then lose by 10 in overtime. How does a competently coached team do that?

Let's find a competent coach and figure that out.
