Healthcare people, specifically the front liners, have always been amazing. It's unfortunate that we never fully appreciated them.

Nurses are often undersung. They are such badasses and perform a tremendous service.

Agreed. Every one I've dealt with over the last few years has been great. They are kind, treat you with respect and certainly know what they are doing.

I saw a post on another forum where a guy who had been unable to work his restaurant job managed to get a job cooking in a hospital's cafeteria. Said he did it because (paraphrasing here) "I was tired of doing nothing, so I decided to try and help how I could by making sure the frontline workers could have good meals."

The US has officially passed both Italy and China as the country with the most cases in the world.

We still have 9 states and 1 territory who have yet to report any numbers for the day as well.

IV asks, "how are we all doing?" Well, lucky me contracted a bacterial URI. So I have been on Doxycycline for the past 10 days. Feeling much better, but no beer does make me cranky.

Quite the typo  All honesty though that sounds brutal. Hopefully you are through the woods.

Jesus... what the hell. I can't believe someone would intentionally do that at this stage in the game.

Scary numbers for the U.S.A. New cases identified over the past seven days:
3/21 4,825
3/22 9,400
3/23 10,189
3/24 11,075
3/25 13,355
3/26 17,224
3/27 18,691

We're over 104,000 total identified, with new cases doubling right around every three days.

The gov of NC announced yesterday that the whole state is going to be in lock down for 30 days starting on Monday.

On the other hand my son in Vegas said that the whole strip in Vegas plans to reopen on May 1st.
