Brett Boeing is joining the team mid-season and should play tonight against UAH.

Amherst's John Leonard is having a solid 2nd year in the USHL. In 2015-2016 Leonard had 5G and 4A in 48 games and in 2016-2017 Leonard has 12G and 8A through 36 games.

An article I came across and thought I'd share on Austin Albrecht.

Hearing PC's Niko Rufo is headed to UMass. Michigan's Kevin Lohan to Boston College
Divver is a hockey writer for the Providence Journal. I know zero about Rufo.

Cale Makar is currently ranked the #9 North American skater in the NHL draft rankings: http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectbrowse.htm

New Jersey, Philadelphia and Dallas have the top 3 picks after last night's draft lottery: https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-draft-firs ... =277764372

I think we have to worry about who drafts Makar and whether they want him to matriculate at Mass versus juniors (see John Carlson a decade or so ago).

^ Greg Carvel being the head coach would seem to work in our favor, as a guy who's been an assistant at the NHL level.
