Games 2&3 Michigan

Post by LouMass » Fri Oct 13, 2023 1:38 pm

I’ll be there…on the couch watching tonight.

Spilt goaltending duties this weekend?

Not to much about the season ahead other than an article or two. Expectations within the league aren’t high, gotta prove it on the ice first.

Rolled into town for this one. Awesome to have Michigan for two. House money for me. They have been great. Excited to see this Year's team. I agree on the goalie unless Brady stones them tonight

Where are the fans?

Did they drop the ball with the ticket prices?

No excuse for that. They should have left prices the same and even given tickets to charity to get the place full. Hope tomorrow is packed.

Oh boy, we looked tepid in that period.

Go U Mass!!!

Are you joking? There were over 7,000 at the game. The crowd was great, the team ( and Brady) stunk.

Was hoping for a tighter game. First 10 minutes we were looking great. So many missed chances. Their goalie came up big or we just couldn't get the blade on the puck. Cannot give them power play chances. Think they scored 4 . Anyway a treat to watch Michigan. They are good but we can beat them. Hoping for a better game tonight

The rule used to be for a goalie to stay in net to have a .950+ save percentage and under 2 goals allowed. I wonder if we’ll see Hrabal tonight.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Sorry for being snarky, that's not usually me. I was just so ticked off after the game it put me in a bad mood. Brady gave up perhaps 3 that he should have stopped. We also hit a post and whiffed on a wide-open net from 3 feet away. The game could have been much closer than 7-2.

They sat about 4 rows in front of me. The funniest thing was watching Majok try to fit himself into a seat. It could not have been comfortable with his VERY long legs.

Ha, no it isn’t! I’m going to stay off the couch today as the M’men take down a couple #6’s.

Then I’m taking the couch to WV to burn it, since we are too civilized for that kind of behavior here in KY.

Perhaps a lazy boy is the way to go…
