Never having heard it before, I listened to the song on YouTube. It's catchy and I actually liked it. IV, I'll cover for you. I'll be at both games and my wife will be attending her 1st and 2nd ever hockey games. She does have sensitive ears, so she may never come back.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2019 7:53 am
How? I've never done it. And next Friday. Maybe. If you're polite. Maybe. Probably not.

I think it sucked in that video because of the delivery from the crowd. An NHL crowd vs a college crowd are two very different beasts, so hopefully our fans can figure it out.

Am fine w/a new Goal Song. Personally I would have loved it if UMass Hockey went with Brass Bonanza for a Goal Song.... That would have been epically Awesome !!!! For about 20 or so yrs I've questioned why anybody would ever listen to, play or in any way support gary glitter since his pedophilia is hardly something that was just uncovered it was long rumored and then confirmed by the arrests etc. Pretty much anything would be a huge improvement on a gary glitter song - but Brass Bonanza would have been so cool. Good job by Bamford !!
Re: new goal song
I believe UConn uses Brass Bonanza. Plus they play in the Whalers' arena.

The viewing experience is 100000000% better on TV in this fans view. The fan experience is the primary difference between watching on tv and attending.
As for the goal song... The Sons of Liberty (I believe they're called now) have recommended "Gold on The Ceiling" so that they can continue the chant within the framework of that song. If the chant is the primary reason you loved the old song, I can't imagine voting for anything else besides the song the students want to use. They are the ones that are responsible for carrying it on.
I can't stand watching NBA games where they play music during the action. Atlanta comes to mind. It's so damn distracting.
Dont dog my man main SIR FOSTER!!! Yes, the music in Atlanta is a bit over the top but Sir Foster is the man.
