We win 5 to 3. Fairly low turnout but it is a 3 day weekend at UMass.

Did anyone else have trouble with the free streaming?

After period 1 we dominated. The offense looked good, but many mistakes by the defense with too many giveaways. That will get better though with MDG playing and with the freshmen getting more ice time. Three of the six D-men last night were freshmen. I was impressed with jones, and Kessel likes to throw his body around. Having three first-year guys score goals is pretty sweet.

Did I miss something? Anyone have details on the injury to Jones?

I did see a comment on cramps for Jones as the reason he didn't play in the third.

Hope it was only cramps. They showed video of him leaving the ice after the game and he could barely stand up. Hope MDG is back Tuesday.

Don’t get comfortable with streaming being free. I believe the trial period is over and all CBS streaming games are behind a paywall.

Sources tell me that the pay-to-watch streaming for
@Hockey_east
men’s games begins tonight. You will need a subscription to CBS All Access ($5.99/mo) to stream Hockey East men’s games going forward. Still, decent deal to watch 100s of games live.
