Game 12 (2018-19): Princeton
Tough test this Saturday as #18 Princeton rolls into Amherst. Hopefully UMass is ready to go from the start. The Mullins center will most likely be pretty empty, so the team probably won't have much crowd energy to feed off of.

Should be a a great game. Princeton is good, but so are we. I'm going and am bringing some buddies with me.

Any reason why the game is listed on our schedule but not Princeton's?

Should be a good game, a real test for us. Am going with 4 others. Not expecting a crowd. Too bad.baseline47 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 11:36 am Should be a a great game. Princeton is good, but so are we. I'm going and am bringing some buddies with me.

Today brings two more Hockey East losses - Union over BU and Yale over the Storrs gang. Only three HE teams now have an over-.500 overall record. Up to us to salvage some HE honor.

So far it’s a down year for Hockey East. Doesn’t bother me. Let’s roll over Princeton tonight and maintain our national standing.

Re: Game 12 (2018-19): Princeton
Escaped with a 3-2 OT win. Outshot Princeton 93-38 , 46-25 SOG.......don’t follow enough to know how impressive this is, but Princeton had 19 blocked shots!!!
Re: Game 12 (2018-19): Princeton
I wouldn’t say we escaped. UMass dominated the game from the opening puck drop, the Princeton goalie kept them in it. Probably the most impressive performance from start to finish this season.

Sounds like a well earned win over a team with a hot goalie.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Greg post-game:
"We deserved to win tonight. It came harder than we wanted it to. It was one of those games where we probably could have scored five or six goals and I felt like Princeton was pretty opportunistic. Whenever we made a mistake, they were creating scoring chances. Winning in a different way for our group, to gut it out and win overtime and I'm very happy for Oliver Chau. We needed him to get off the off the schneid and score a goal. That's as good a 60 minutes as we've played this year, so, I'm very happy with the victory."
