Women's Lacrosse 2016

Post by njumass08 » Sat Apr 02, 2016 8:20 pm

This thread is needed. The women deserve a 2016 thread. Heck of a season so far.
Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

^ Pretty darn impressive!! So dominant in the A10. I wish it would lead to a higher seed in the tourney.

I will put this link here but it applies to three teams. The NCAA has recognized three UMass teams with APR recognition, men's track & field, women's cross country and women's lax.

This has to be the best team UMass fields by a huge margin. Up 11-1 over St bona with 16 minutes left in the first. Er, make that 12-1.
Raise the bar, do the minimum.

^ It appears that our friend Tim Kenney has a bit of work to do there.

A little. I was wondering if St Bona only had a club team.

Surprised they haven't recruited more from the Native American community around them.

I won't take anything away from the WLax team, they are dominant, but it's a shame they aren't in a stronger conference. The A10 is very weak outside of UMass and it hurts them come NCAA time. They were forced into a play-in game last year where the winner got the #1 overall seed (Maryland) as a prize. So that basically means they had to fight to be the 16th (bottom) seed. Tough spot, and it's likely to happen again this year.

Here’s a look at the weekly national polls; No. 19 in two, No. 12 in the other. Big test at RICH/VCU this weekend!

We are supposed to be plating Richmond at 4 this afternoon. I went to game tracker to see the score and they show Richmond playing someone else. What the heck is going on?
