We wouldn't want Ryan to have ten minutes of down time:

Carla - Go get 'em with the Tigers! I wonder if we have our list of first class replacements ready.

I know coaches leave for any number or reasons, and I know it's Princeton, but what the hell? I can see losing a successful football or basketball coach to a power conference school but I feel sad that we are not able to keep one of our most successful (non revenue) coaches on board.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Unfortunate news. Late in the game for getting a new coach as well...

The Ivy League isn't exactly chopped liver. Perhaps there are benefits of working at Princeton that UMass can't offer. I know some coaches choose to work at an Ivy League school to give their kids the ability to attend school there for a hefty discount. It also must be a challenge to work there - coaches need to find kids with strong academic and athletic ability while not being able to directly offer athletic scholarships. A few generations back, the Ivies were considered athletic powerhouses.

According to Matt Vautour, UMass will bring on alum Amy Robertson on an interim basis. Hoping that this gives us time for a good candidate to appear for next season.
