I hope so...it seems you can't get anywhere in softball without a top rank chucker.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

I've followed softball for a while and frankly this team will be lucky to win 5 games this year(hope I'm wrong) . . . oh how the once proud program has fallen!

Is it time for a change in leadership here? This doesn’t seem to be working

Especially when the AD gives you less and less resources every year. After she was hired she finished 7th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and 2nd in the A10 prior to covid hitting. Including a coach of the year award just a few years ago. Just another alumni (coaching and non coaching) that the AD has fired.

I'm a bit indifferent here... I think they were stuck in the mud a bit, if you will. A change might help, but I do think Kristi could have pulled the program out of it as well.

We're past that now, so moving forward I'd prefer someone from the Sortino line. College Softball, like Baseball, is not easy here in the Northeast and having someone that knows that would help immensely. With that said, having just fired someone from the Sortino line might make bringing in someone of that same ilk a bit difficult.

What about Mrs. Matty G, Whitney G? think she has had some really good success at WPI, and is a legend of the diamond at umass.

Can you comment more on the lack of the resources? Did the 2020 travel budget reduce against 2019/2018? I do not like people being relieved of their duties esp. after giving 19 years to the university.
