Let them transfer as many times as they let other students transfer.

Just like with other students-if you don’t want them to transfer away be good enough that they want to stay.

Just saw KLA declaring for the draft. Absolutely hate to see him leave, but it's the dream so I wish all the best for the kid. Was a pleasure watching him play this year, very talented. Best of luck to him in a pro career

I wish him well, too. I wasn't surprised to see him declare after the fantastic season he just had.

Definitely. Good luck to him. With the lessened importance of rb in the nfl, you gotta strike while the irons hot.

Lots of players declaring for the draft. pro day should be exciting. I get it. I also agree selfishly that it would be nice to have some stay. I know I sound like a broken record with this, but I can’t wait for the Covid extra year to be out of the mix. So many players have eligibility it causes lots of movement.

So many P5 qb’s in the portal. It’s becoming a joke and basically qb free agency every year. Any chance Umass can land another P5 retread to either compete with or take Puma’s job?

Question. Players are allowed to declare for the draft then return to college with eligibility if they don’t like their projected draft status. What if this happens to KLA. Would he return to UMass or enter the portal?

Nope. When they declare they are giving up any remaining eligibility. There is no going back.

They can do this with the NBA draft, assuming they don't hire an agent.

I'll take Haston as the #2 QB unless lightning strikes and we hit on a QB1 with a very solid track record.

It’s just gotten silly now, TTech qb just transferred to Louisville. His name isnt Van Wilder but he’s a 7th year senior and will be 25 when the season starts.

Likely played for Brower at Springfield Central. I'd love to see more Central grads at UMass! 8)

Their program is a powerhouse.
