Great win. Not too many penalties or dumb mistakes. They’re learning how to play with Puma’s limited mobility.

I was doing some calculations and it is possible for a 5-7 team to get bowl bid again this year. Why not UMass in the Fenway Bowl.. Crush Merrimack, rest up, stun Liberty, and then win vs SUCKCONN

What's frustrating is if not for injury, this team should be at 4 wins right now. But on the other hand we could match our best FBS season with 4 wins.. that's a significant step forward.

I hope UMass continues winning to show the excitement on this forum is warranted. Amazing what one win can do.

It was a lot of fun to witness this victory! My father and some extended family were visiting and I felt very proud of UMass football. They played tough and finished!

New Mex State is now 6-3, so we can definitely be more successful at the FBS level.
