Anybody road tripping down to Alabama this weekend should take a pit stop in NC and pick up Berkman.

Had to watch it again to make sure
Gotta give some love to the OLine. Big question mark coming in, and they blocked well and gave up NO sacks.
Loving the talent they brought in this off-season, QB, receivers, defense. We'll win some games

My big picture take is that unlike teams from the last 5 years (maybe longer), we didn't panic or fold when the other team made a big play. Instead, we came back and made big plays of our own.

I appreciate the thought but I would not be able to make that trip. I had gal bladder surgery the end of June and and still moving slow. I can't climb very high up on bleachers. When I last went to Davidson for the men's game 2 years ago I had to get handicap seats. For the women it is not a problem because their seats are general admission and I can get seats behind the bench. I am going to try and get seats for the men's game this year through UMass hopefully behind the bench or get handicap seats again.

I think this game will be closer than you think.
Auburn's a really cool college town. They have a great golf course, Grand National if you want to get in a few holes.

Auburn is a GREAT College Town.... super nice people, great night spots, and some great food. I have played that course as well, makes Cromwell look like a dump by comparison.

I have been there 2 times, but never had BBQ. Moe's (there are 2 Moe's - A Grille and and BBQ Place) which I was told was good, but that is word of mouth only.

Personally, I like The Hound - I love my Bourbon and they have it in abundance there along with excellent food.

Plenty of thoughts on the game, but I've gotta start here... I just went through this thread and there is only one takeaway/question after reading it:

How drunk was DoctorJ on Saturday night? Whoa. Some of those posts... yikes!

My wife and I are going to Auburn on Friday. She hasn't been to a Umass game since september 1984. I dont remember if we went to the Ball State game or Lehigh (I had to look these games up) We also went to the "Big E". I have no idea why she wants to go to Auburn. It can't be the heat and humidity Maybe she'll bring some luck

The good Doctor has now been MIA from here for 41 hours. Do we need an intervention?

One of the best public courses that isn't expensive.
