This team showed what they are made of, and this is the beginning of a new era under Don Brown. NMS is not a bad team… they won 7 games last year including a bowl game, and returned a lot of key players. UMass has a talented QB and some great WRs and RBs…. Hopefully the O line will continue to improve, and the DBs will tighten up on defense. I’m looking forward to the home opener and take my hat off to the players and coaches for a great performance tonight on ESPN!

I cannot wait for next week. True test to see if we can compete with the big boys.

2018 - Whip's last year here. Scored 42 or more in 5 games, 3 of which were losses.
this sounds nuts: Don Brown is going to be better than Whip in 2017
He's going to get way more talent on the roster. And our defense is always going to be good. That's how you win games.

+3 in the turnover stats is awesome. Just clean up the penalties and this is looking like a quality team. I don't care if we get thrashed by Aubren. Just beat the teams in our ballpark and we'll be fine.

And how about 28 fourth quarter points! More than they scored in most games last year.

No turnovers on offense.
3 turnovers on defense.
5/5 on XP
2/2 on FG
Almost 400 yards on offense

Gave up too many big plays on D, but Don Brown knows how to fix a defense.

Don Brown said "prove it", and they did. Can't recall a bigger win than this one.

Auburn line's gone from 39.5 to 38 in some places. LFG!

Still not the prettiest brand of football, but to see us have the ability to spread the field, to have a QB who's evasive yet can actually stretch the field with his arm, is just such a good thing to see. Humble pie's coming next week, but there's reason to believe we have a little something here. Just pumped.
