Well, we know Bell doesn’t seem to like throwing the ball downfield, so as long as he can make throws to the sideline and 7 yard hook/comeback routes he should be good.

If he can read a defense and do a simple progression from receiver to receiver that would be a huge upgrade.

??? 0% chance of winning at Auburn...I thought if we we show up and play the game, we would have at least a .001% chance of winning.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
Re: 2020 Season
It's projected they will play home games without fans in the stadium. Even if Covid-19 has been completely eradicated.

I was told earlier season ticket renewals begin late April. Any word on when this is now being pushed back to?

Re: 2020 Season
As the Power 5 + ND has agreed to no sports unless students are back on campus, and Massachusetts has a long way to go via the new Federal guidelines announced tonight, I'd be extremely surprised if there is a fall FB season for UMass, and most colleges.
As of this week, BU is not bringing students back to campus until January 21, only OL classes. On my campus, the viewpoint is toward starting the Fall term OL, with perhaps a mid-Fall residential aspect. OL through summer is the rule.
Remember that F2F classes are only as good as any student coming from an infected region and with this rolling virus and UMass' UG and G draw from all the states plus international, too much risk, and certainly not enough testing to held gauge the odds.
If we are lucky, we'll see a shortened Winter season sports schedule and one for a full Spring.
I am intrigued by the possibility of simply delaying all Fall sports until Spring 21, which I have not seen mentioned.
Sad.

Re: 2020 Season
Not that I am advocating we rush anything (I personally think the guidelines should be stretched out by at least another week each phase..), but if MA started Phase 1 on June 1st, they could theoretically be through it by the end of July and on target for a normal start to the Fall semester and fall sports. It's not that long of a way to go...
With that said, I believe we're headed towards the Fall semester and Fall sports being in jeopardy... and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It's possible, but I think it occurs without fans.
