Boy oh boy. Should have taken a deep breath a few weeks ago and waited. Never follow UConn on anything!

Well, how quickly things change. There weren't going to be many (any) teams to play in the spring, so if we were going to play it had to be in the fall. My guess is that we will easily find 5 or 6 opponents. There are plenty of teams with open dates.

Almost always like to see us on ESPN front CFB page. Not sure I'm totally on board yet with the reversal but let's give it a shot if the Einstein's feel its safe for the boys.

Well, our home games were an exercise in social distancing even before the pandemic.

This should be interesting! Army was advertising for a Covid free team and UMass fits that requirement! I see BYU, Army, Liberty and ...

I drove many hours to watch 63-7 last year. Possibly not such a good idea for this year.

Totally agree! It will be a massacre but should pay well.

Strange that Bamford was putting out on September 17 that there wouldn't be a fall season and a few days later having a change of heart. Was he lying on the 17th and planning this behind the scenes...I can't believe that this would all change over the weekend.

What does that mean - bought out all the home tickets for whatever home games we play at the list price?

The comment may have been referring to the Flagship Forward donation program. Football raised $130,000: https://minutefund.umass.edu/g/athletics. I have no idea about football budgets, but $130,000 has to move the needle in some way.

Also, a good article from the Gazette on the reversal: https://www.gazettenet.com/UMass-change ... l-36364202

Finally something to get excited about. Praying everyone remains healthy and they win a few games!
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
