Louisiana tech third and fourth stringers going to see a lot of time today. Right now we are a bottom 20 FCS team and it seems as if Bell is doing everything he can to make us worse. The hurry up offense, screwing up our punter so he can’t punt anymore, and so on and so on...

Bell looks totally clueless on the sideline (but his hair is in place).

LA Tech beat the 2 - 4 Grambling Tigers 20 - 14 giving up 32 first downs. UMass isn't playing Clemson!

West is in with a great return by Rogers. A special teams recovery and West hits Horn for the second TD 42-14.

Never seen UMass football give up 52 points in one half. Great hire Bamford!

Bell should be fired for running the hurry up offense with so few players on defense. I feel for the players because this isn't fair to them or their bodies.

We gave up 52 points in a half. This might be the worst team in UMass football history.

Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. Yes coaching plays its part but you need talent. Don't know how you can solely dis Bell and Bamford when Bell inherited a nearly bare cupboard. Ten people did leave the team, which was half a dozen under the 85 scholarship players and basically we have in the 60's currently on scholarship, not all healthy. The basketball team had nearly a 100% turnover in two years so 10 in perspective isn't as bad. But more importantly from Mike Traini post on fightmassachusetts board. Whipple had different standards for freshmen and seniors. Different for those in favor and those in the dog house. The standards from Bell and staff are higher.

The UMass record book doesn’t list a record for most points allowed in a half, at least I couldn’t find it. However the record for most point allowed in a game is 80, by Wesleyan in 1985.

I was a student at UMass in 1985 and I don't remember that game against Wesleyan.

You probably don't remember going to many basketball games as we were terrible in basketball, similar to the stint that we are going through in football. Wish the best for all sports, but these droughts happen.

We are playing at CUSA with their refs and no targeting, wow as there where a few steps after the ball was incomplete and clear head to head contact.
