GAME 5 9/28 AKRON

Post by Berkman » Sun Sep 22, 2019 6:57 pm

Talked to my son in Vegas earlier tonight and he said that we are 5 point underdogs for the game against Akron on Sat.

I posted same thing over in state of the program thread. It's Walfish's story about UMass having fewer than 60 scholarship players in practice yesterday. No need to post it twice.

The only reason I started the post is because I had talked to my son in Vegas and he gave me the spread.

Anyone have a prediction on the crowd size?

Might this be the least attended Saturday game in the history of 1-a football?

Don't worry, the Marching Band is required to be there.

I will take that bet - as in I think there will be more people on the field!

I remember watching Umass play (Akron I think) on a Thursday night TV game. It was raining and there could not have been more than 200 people there. It was awful.
