Why does it seem so perfect that Lawrence Academy has forfeited the final game of QB recruit Brady Martin’s career? Feel badly for the kid who misses out on senior day after a great career there.
Can you give more details as to why they forfeited?

What he said. They believed they did not have enough players on the roster, concerned about injury, etc. They have this issue before at Lawrence Academy. According to the Boston Herald, the team forfeited 3 games last year. Here's a graf from a Herald story:

10. Lawrence Academy went through a tumultuous 2018 season as a lack of numbers and injuries forced the school to forfeit three games. That should not be a problem this year as some key transfers come in to go along with a returning group led by UMass-bound quarterback Brady Martin.

With that many early recruits defections were bound to happen. Brock's team had another back who was being heavily recruited. He got hurt and Brock totally blew up. The decommits are happening more and more. Last year Alabama had 8, BC had 4.

Why is Bell bringing Pro Style QB's for campus visits if he wants to play no huddle hurry up offense?

They lost a LB recruit, Mathieu Masse Pelletier, who has to give up football due to concussion issues.

No huddle hurry up doesn’t mean RPO offense. Maybe he is tweaking his offense to a more traditional spread? Who knows? What happened last year was awful. He should be rethinking things....

His recruit Brito was a pro style QB and we saw how well that went. I've been watching and wondering the same thing. I guess in 4 - 5 years they will turn into a RPO QB...

I’ve never coached football but I’ve I watched of ton of nfl and college football over the years. From what I’ve seen, a team has to already have an established traditional offense in place before trying to start running the hurry up or 2:00 drill offense. Am I wrong in stating this?

I find it interesting that the last 2 QBs we have offered have no other D1 offers...I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

I'd like to see a big, strong kid (6-4, 6-5) with a big arm back there throwing the ball all over the field. Should help the running game too. Just my preference unless you can find a kid that can throw AND run well. Not a fan of the hurry up offense as I think it drains the Oline

FWIW, Koch, one of the last 2 QBs we offered, has an offer from Southern Mississippi. He also rushed for just under 600 yards.
