Very nice feature/piece that appeared in today's San Francisco Chronicle sports section about Isabella...Gruden and the Raider organization love the guy (hopefully,he will land at a more stable organization than the mess in Oakland/Vegas called Raider Nation)...speaking of impressive, Izzy graduated in 3.5 yrs with a degree in Applied Math...lucky to have him as an alum!

From Giants.com

• UMass’ Andy Isabella won Team MVP honors for the North team. He showed the same quickness, speed and explosion he did during practice to make people miss and score on a screen pass. His hands were steady in the game after some drops last week at practice. He is a future impactful slot receiver in the NFL.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Don’t know where I read it, but Andy’s agent is doing his best to explain how Andy has some attributes like Edelman, but more like a Golden Tate and players that were actually wide receivers in college unlike Edelman.

Patriots should use a 3rd round pick on Isabella if everyone else is stupid enough to leave him there.

I'd love this but its not likely to happen. They already have Edelman, Hogan, and Berrios(the kid they drafted last year out of Miami who is on IR). Either way I hope he ends up on a good, well-coached, well-organized team.

I'll be very surprised if the Patriots re-sign Hogan.

It would be great if the Pats selected Andy. Looking at their roster though, my guess is they will be looking for a traditional outside receiver with speed (though the Pats suck at drafting WRs) unless Gordon comes back. Hogan's contract is up I think and probably not on the top of the Pats list. Should be interesting. Hope Andy winds up in a spot that can really utilize him (like Cruz).

They also have Phillip Dorsett, Cordarelle Patterson and (technically) Josh Gordon. Or are you only interested in the white guys?

Isabella would be a great fit on the Patriots. GREAT fit. They had a ton of success with 2 smaller slot guys whether it was when Welker and Edelman were on the same team or when Edelman and Amendola were on the same team. The big question as it always is with Patriots receivers is how well can he a) run precise routes and b) diagnose the defense in real time as they run a shit ton of option routes based on the coverage.

You literally only listed the white WR on the Patriots roster. Hogan plays outside and Edelman plays inside so literally the only thing they have in common is the color of their skin.

Try not to be lazy when you do your analysis - asshat.
