Will be interesting to see what happens with current commits with the hiring of Coach Bell. Would expect a few to move on because of the coaching change and to see one or two that the staff backs off on. With the early signing period coming up it would be nice if the coach's current connections help him land 2 or 3 decent prospects.

I'm hoping for 8-10. We need a roster revamp.

If he can flip any of the guys that were more or less looking at a redshirt year at FSU to come north and compete for playing time immediately, that would be a huge boon. Specifically at skill positions, since I think age (more so time in the weight room) is a significant factor in the interior.

Big first recruit for Bell ... Isaiah Rodgers says he will be back in 2019.

Look at that. Most important recruit of 2019 AND it's on the defensive side of the ball 8)

^ I'll add Jesse Britt to this list. After an "inspiring" conversation with the coaches (Bell + Paschall) he has changed his mind and will not transfer. I consider this a recruit because he was gone.

#UMass with an offer to a big 3* JUCO DL in Sam Okuayinonu, who's from Lowell and is a native of Liberia
When have we had a 6'3, 270 defensive end? I hope we land him.

Too many to try and list here. If you've been following UMass Football on twitter you have seen a very large number of offers in the last few days.

Follow FightMA247 on Twitter. He has all the info. Looks like we have offered quite a few defensive players. We have lost a few guys who had committed. Also appears there will be several visits to campus this weekend.

Apparently many, if not most/all of these decommits came from decisions made by the coaching staff.
