2018 - Game 12: @ Georgia 11/17
JetBlue has very low prices for the weekend of this game, as of this moment. You can fly RT from Boston to Atlanta for as low as $177. Book away!

Our defense is that bad. Probably a fair line.
Re: 2018 - Game 12: @ Georgia 11/17
I would never lay 44 against anybody. UGA has much bigger fish to fry and I doubt the playoff committee would be impressed by a 70-point victory vs. UMass.

So what is an acceptable performance here..... ?
- Cover the spread and score a few points?
- Hold UGA to 50 or less?
- Score more than 3 times?
I guess I would be OK with a cover and some kind of points on the board - but my expectations are pretty low for this game.

Looks like the weather will be decent enough... so we have that going for us (fans).

@Innervisions- You're a long-time and respected contributor to this board, so I ask this with due respect, but who would really want to go down there to witness this embarrassing mismatch of an ass-kicking in person?
Re: 2018 - Game 12: @ Georgia 11/17
Photoman, it's an opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of a big-time SEC game against a national power at a classic venue ("between the hedges"). I don't fault anybody for going down. We all know it's a paycheck game; who would ever expect anything other than a rout under any circumstances?

#1: I support the school over all else. We could be 0-12 and I still support the school and program and make a trip like this. I'll still chirp that changes should be made or complain about whatever the issues are, but I'll still support the team.
#2: We pick a big away game each year to go to and experience, usually in a town/city that I/we have never been to. Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, etc... and this year is Georgia. So not only am I going down to support my team/school, but also to experience what it's like to see this very large SEC program and how they do things there.
#3: I highly doubt I'm respected here, but thanks!
I'm fully aware what I am about to witness this weekend, but we are going to make the best of the trip.

Still deciding if we should make the trip down for the game. I've followed the team to Wisconsin, Penn State, Notre Dame, but for some reason, it is hard to get up for this game for me. For anyone going to the game, you have my respect!
Lots of mixed emotions: glad/sad that is should be Whip's last game, but only want the best for the players and program and hope they play hard as they have in the past against SEC schools.
Athens Georgia is a great place and I have no doubt it will be a fun time before the game Saturday.

Something else to consider: Saturday provides a large national stage for Isabella to shine and show off his skills to NFL teams. If he can have a big game, he'll certainly get a lot more attention.

^Dude is really banged up. If he stops limping by Saturday it will be a bonus.

Very true. I hope he can get through it. Would hate to see that he can't play in his last collegiate game.... but if it makes sense to sit out or not go full tilt to heal for what should be an offseason of NFL prep, so be it.
